REMARKS/1.  PURPOSE.  References (a) and (b) authorize designated Unit Command Coordinators (UCC) to approve Information Technology Procurement Reviews (ITPR) within the 50,000 dollar threshold.  This message announces a modification to the format of the UCC approval letter.
2.  Effective immediately, the UCC generated ITPR approval letter must include an itemized list of the items contained in the ITPR.  Additionally, the total dollar amount of the approval letter must match the total amount of the ITPR.  The updated version of the approval letter is posted to the Remedy ITPRAS reference library located at https:(slash)(slash)eris.mceits.usmc.mil/.  All previous versions of the approval letter are no longer valid.
3.  Questions regarding the 50,000 dollar approval threshold or the approval letter format should be addressed to the POCs of this message or the HQMC (C4/CIO) IT Procurement Branch at itprocurement@usmc.mil.
