GENTEXT/REMARKS/1.  HQMC SEMPER FIT (MFS-2) IS SEEKING APPLICATIONS FROM QUALIFIED, ACTIVE DUTY MARINES (MAJOR OR ABOVE) FROM THE NATIONAL CAPITAL REGION (NCR) TO SERVE AS OIC/COM FOR THE CNRC. THE PREFERRED CANDIDATE WILL HAVE KNOWLEDGE OF THE GAME BUT EXPERIENCE IS NOT A PREREQUISTE TO APPLY.  THE CNRC WILL BE HELD IN AUCKLAND, NEW ZEALAND, 16 SEPT THROUGH 5 OCT 2014.THE OIC/COM MUST BE AVAILABLE STARTING ON 12 SEPT FOR PRE-TOURNAMENT COORDINATION BRIEFINGS ABOARD MCB CAMP PENDLETON.
2.  INTERESTED MARINES MUST SUBMIT A SPORTS APPLICATION TO HQMC SEMPER FIT (MFS-2) NLT 20 JUNE 2014. APPLICATIONS MUST INCLUDE PAST RUGBY EXPERIENCE AS A PLAYER AND/OR COACH IF APPLICABLE. MARINES MUST HAVE A GOVERNMENT TRAVEL CARD AND PASSPORT.
3.  APPLICATIONS MAY BE OBTAINED AT WWW.USMC-MCCS.ORG/SPORTS OR FROM THE LOCAL MCCS SEMPER FIT ATHLETIC DIRECTOR.
4.  MARINES STATIONED AT A COMMAND WITH A LOCAL MCCS SEMPER FIT MUST SUBMIT THEIR APPLICATIONS THROUGH THE SEMPER FIT ATHLETIC DIRECTOR. MARINES STATIONED AT A LOCATION WITHOUT A LOCAL MCCS SEMPER FIT ATHLETIC DIRECTOR, MUST SUBMIT THEIR APPLICATIONS DIRECTLY TO HQMC(MFS-2) VIA THEIR CHAIN OF COMMAND. APPLICATIONS MAY BE SCANNED AND SENT VIA EMAIL TO MCCSSPORTSAPPS(AT)USMC-MCCS.ORG OR FAXED TO 703-784-4125.
