GENTEXT/REMARKS/1.  Purpose.  The purpose of this MARADMIN is to establish the procedures and criteria for assigning the Mountain Leader MOS to eligible Marines.
2.  Qualification.
2.a. Marine enlisted with School Code M7B are qualified to be assigned additional MOS 0941 Winter Mountain Leader.
2.b. Marine officers with School Code M7B are qualified to be assigned additional MOS 0942 Winter Mountain Leader.
2.c. Marine enlisted with School Code M7A are qualified to be assigned additional MOS 0943 Summer Mountain Leader.
2.d. Marine officers with School Code M7A are qualified to be assigned additional MOS 0944 Summer Mountain Leader.
2.e. Marine enlisted with School Code M7A and M7B are qualified to be assigned additional MOS 0945 Summer/Winter Mountain Leader.
2.f. Marine officers with School Code M7A and M7B are qualified to be assigned additional MOS 0946 Summer/Winter Mountain Leader.
3.  Marines with the qualification/s should see their S-1 to request assignment of the respective MOS.
4.  Request actions be completed NLT 31 Jan 2020.
5.  Contact POCs for questions and coordination.
6.  This MARADMIN is applicable to the total force.
