GENTEXT/REMARKS/1.  This Marine Administrative Message (MARADMIN) provides additional guidance on performance evaluations for recovering service members (RSMs) in the grades of E1 to E4.
2.  Marines in the grades of E1 to E4 who are either assigned to Wounded Warrior Battalion (WWBN) in a temporary additional duty (TAD) status in excess of 30 days or permanently assigned as a RSM are exempt from receiving JEPES command input marks required with the reporting occasion types in reference (a).
2.a.  Commands that are transferring a Marine to WWBN will provide an amplifying justification comment with the TR occasion under “MOS Proficiency and Mission Accomplishment” stating that “this occasion marks the MRO’s transfer to WWBN for assessment or permanent status as a recovering service member.”
3.  Marines who are promotion eligible in accordance with reference and meet or exceed the monthly cutting score may be promoted while they are RSMs at WWBN.
4.  This MARADMIN is applicable to the Marine Corps Total Force.
5.  Release authorized by BGen Michael J. Borgschulte, Director, Manpower Management Division.//
