SUBJ/U.S. NAVY HOSPITAL CORPS BIRTHDAY MESSAGE//
GENTEXT/REMARKS/1.  Marines and Sailors, 17 June 2021 marks the 123rd birthday of the United States Navy Hospital Corps.  The inseparable bond between Marines and Corpsmen remains a proud part of our naval heritage.  Bound by reciprocated prestige and immersed in pride, the link between Marines and their “Docs” has upheld a renowned history.
2.  The unwavering commitment of United States Navy Corpsmen to their fellow Marines continues to be recognized as a sacred trust.  This trust remains a shared conviction that rests in the embodiment of the ethos and legacy that has spearheaded the Marine Corps’ endurance in our Nation's battles.  As our Corps transforms into a more agile and lethal naval force-in-readiness, the reliance upon our "Docs" has never been more critical.  While preparing for challenges that will test our Corps without wane in the most difficult climes, we take great comfort in knowing that our Corpsmen will continue to distinguish themselves.  Today, as in days past, they remain “Always Faithful” at our side regardless the situation.
3.  On behalf of the entire United States Marine Corps, I extend my personal and heartfelt congratulations to the men and women of the United States Navy Hospital Corps on their 123rd birthday.  As you celebrate and reflect upon your naval heritage, know that Marines are profoundly grateful for your service and selfless dedication to our Nation, our families, and our Corps.
4.  Semper Fidelis, David H. Berger, General, U.S. Marine Corps, Commandant of the Marine Corps.//
