GENTEXT/REMARKS/1. On 15 August 2022, the Commandant of the Marine Corps (CMC) convened the FY23 Lieutenant Colonel RCSB and on 22 August 2022, CMC and the Deputy Commandant for Manpower and Reserve Affairs (DC MRA) convened the FY23 Colonel RCSB and RSLB. The purpose of command screening is to ensure that Marines receive the best possible leadership and to provide all eligible officers with a fair and equitable opportunity to command. Billets considered will normally become available during the period of 1 October 2022 to 1 September 2023.
