GENTEXT/REMARKS/1.  Per Ref (a), Deputy Commandant for Combat Development & Integration (DC CD&I) serves as the Headquarters, Marine Corps (HQMC) agency responsible for the oversight and standardized training of all Occupational Field (OccFld) Managers and Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) Specialists.
2.  This message announces the Fiscal Year 2023 (FY23) OccFld Manager and MOS Specialist Symposium scheduled for 25-27 October 2022.  This professional development symposium is held annually and is designed to provide education regarding the Total Force Structure Process, Ref (a), and the Marine Corps Human Resource Development Process (HRDP), Ref (b).  Further, this symposium aims to improve the proficiency of OccFld Managers and MOS Specialists when dealing with manning and staffing issues for the Marine Corps Total Force.
3.  All actively serving OccFld Managers and MOS Specialists are highly encouraged to attend.  All Sergeants Major assigned to Major Subordinate Commands and above are invited to attend as well.
4.  Briefs will be available approximately one week prior to the symposium and can be found at https:(slash)(slash)tfsms.mceits.usmc.mil under the references tab in the OccFld Symposium portion of the webpage.  In order to access the TFSMS website, personnel must register or utilize their CAC card.
5.  Orders and funding are the responsibility of individuals and their commands.
6.  The symposium will be held at Little Hall (Base Theater), 2034 Barnett Ave, Quantico VA 22134.
7.  Uniform for the symposium is MARPAT MCCUU.
8.  Transportation is the responsibility of the attendee.  Parking is available directly across the street from Little Hall.
9.  This MARADMIN is applicable to the Marine Corps Total Force.
