More than 1,360 master sergeants out of 12,834 eligible, have been selected for promotion to senior master sergeant, Air Force Personnel Center officials said today.

The selection list will be released Thursday, 8 a.m. central time, after commanders have been notified, said Senior Master Sgt. Jeffrey Noxon, enlisted promotions and testing superintendent. Once released, the list will be accessible on the AFPC public news page, the Air Force Personnel Services website, and the Air Force Portal, as well as AFPC social media sites.

In addition to information available on the public sites, selectees will be able to access their scores in the virtual MPF via the secure applications page, said Noxon.

The average overall score for those selected was 673.11. Selectees' average time in grade is 4.02 years and time in service is 18.89 years. Other score averages included 135.00 for enlisted performance reports, 20.63 for decorations and 71.73 for the Promotion Fitness Exam.

Selectee promotions will begin in April, in order of promotion sequence numbers.

Selections are tentative until the data verification process is complete, which is no later than 10 days after the promotion release date," said Noxon. Personnel officials will notify Airmen, via military personnel sections, if their selection is in question.
