Matthew C. Perry Elementary honor Veterans Day with ceremony

Celebrating ancestors' success during Hispanic Heritage Month luncheon

On Sept. 16, 1810, in small town named Dolores near Guanajuato, Mexico, a cry for independence was heard starting the Mexican War of Independence. On Sept. 15, 1821, five countries in Central America also fought for their Independence. Fast forward to 1968, President Lyndon B. Johnson started an observance in September for Hispanic Heritage Week.

CLC-36 maintains station vehicles

Port, harbor area to be restricted zone starting May 10

Total Shield 2010: Exercise closes, sections tested, lessons learned
