Artillery in air: Landing support specialists test lift capabilities

2nd MLG Marines cook off competition winning chef of the quarter

Thirteen teams came up with their best menus, decorations andpresentations to compete for chef of the quarter here, March 11.   Onlyfive teams made it to the final round, but all fell short of the winning crewled by Sgt. Tannisha Gamble, a food service specialist with Food ServiceCompany, Combat Logistics Regiment 27, 2nd Marine Logistics Group.

Best in mess: 2nd MLG Marines compete for W.P.T. Hill Award

Hill Award competitionhere, March 10.   The service members took to their field kitchen early inthe morning with two missions: feed the surrounding units with hot meals insupport of their training and pit their skills

2nd Maint. Bn. holds field meet on Halloween

Halloween was celebrated a little differently at the 2nd Maintenance Battalion compound here, Oct. 31.     Marines with 2nd Maint. Bn., Combat Logistics Regiment 25, 2nd Marine Logistics Group did not dress up in costumes or go ‘trick or treating.’    They kept their esprit de corps during a field meet through a series of physical challenges.

Virtual convoy: 2nd Med. Bn. trains with simulator

Marines, sailors get revved up for motorcycles

Nighttime squad challenge prepares Marines for upcoming deployment
