Retired U.S. Marine Col. Willard Buhl and Marisa Borzoni, the life partner of retired Lt. Col. Clark Henry, spread Henry’s ashes as part of his memorial service on Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, Feb. 21, 2023. Henry enlisted during World War II, received a field commission during the Korean War and received a Silver Star during the Vietnam War. The memorial service included a tour of the 1st Marine Division command post and a tour of Camp Pendleton’s Landing Vehicle Tracked Museum.\ - Retired U.S. Marine Col. Ssang Yong 16 is a biennial combined amphibious exercise conducted by U.S. forces with the Republic of Korea Navy and Marine Corps, Australian Army and Royal New Zealand Army forces in order to strengthen interoperability and working relationships across a wide range of military operations.
