Super squad competition pushes Marines to the limit

GSM Marines follow in the footsteps of their predecessors

Mission Readiness: CLR-25 conducts field exercise

Storming the beach: 2nd Maintenance Battalion pounds sand for a little physical training

While most battalions conduct physical training on the road or at the gym, 2nd Maintenance Battalion decided to go back to their roots and hit the beach here, Aug. 14.    The battalion ran three miles and switched from pavement to wet sand on the return trip. Bring on the mud: Marines complete Vehicle Recovery Course

ANA show they can teach their own

In an effort to help the Afghan National Army sustain themselves in future operations, coalition forces are implementing mentorship programs to teach ANA soldiers different skills. Six soldiers from the 215th Corps Logistics Battalion, ANA, graduated from a basic radio operator instructor course June 8, 2011, at Camp Shorabak, Afghanistan.
