NAD ‘ALI DISTRICT, HELMAND PROVINCE, Afghanistan – Corporal Chan Zaw, a rifleman with Kilo Company, 3rd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, provides security while his fellow Marines search a local shop in the Qasim Bazaar, Jan. 17, 2014. Zaw, a 23-year-old native of Fresno, Calif., was also the mine sweeper in charge of finding improvised explosive devices in the bazaar.
