PHILADELPHIA - First Sgt. Leon M. Banta, an Oil City, Pa. native and the company first sergeant for Engineer Support Company, 8th Engineer Support Battalion, 2nd Marine Logistics Group, stands aboard the USS Somerset during a commissioning ceremony in Penn’s Landing, Philadelphia, March 1, 2014. The San Antonio-class amphibious troop transport is the third and final transport built with metal salvaged after the 9/11 terrorist attacks and was named in honor of the passengers of United Airlines Flight 93, which crashed in Somerset County, Pa.
