In appreciation for their service to the country, the Major League Baseball team, Atlanta Braves, paused to honor Marines at Turner Field in Atlanta, Georgia, Saturday, 19 July 2014 on Marine Corps Appreciation Day . Maj. Gen. John J. Broadmeadow, commanding general, Marine Corps Logistics Command, addresses fans at Turner Field. Highlights of the game included Maj. Gen. John J. Broadmeadow, commanding general, Marine Corps Logistics Command, throwing out the first pitch to Braves manager Fredi Gonzalez.
