Major General John J. Broadmeadow, Commanding General, Marine Corps Logistics Command, gets ready to address the crowd at Turner Field on 19 July, 2014, as The Atlanta Braves celebrated the United States Marine Corps on Marine Corps Appreciation Day. More than 60 Marines march onto Turner Field in Atlanta, Georgia, during the Marine Corps Appreciation Day game. In attendance was Medal of Honor Recipient, Kyle Carpenter whom Broadmeadow gave a special tribute to. Broadmeadow thanked all service members for their dedication and duty to this great country before throwing out the first pitch of the night.
