Marines wade through the ocean water Sept. 17 at U.S. Naval Base, Guam during night infiltration training as a part of Exercise Valiant Shield 2014. Valiant Shield is a U.S.-only, biennial exercise which focuses on the integration of joint training among participating forces. During the training, Marines swam ashore from Combat Rubber Raiding Crafts, secured the beach and swam back out to the CRRCs.
