A Marine scout sniper candidate with Scout Sniper Platoon, Weapons Company, 2nd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment looks through the scope of his weapon during a stalking exercise in the vicinity of SR-10 aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, April 22, 2015. The exercise taught Marines the importance of concealment during movement to a target and while firing from a position at a target. The stalking exercise was one of many conducted by Marines attending the Scout Sniper Basic Preparation Course over the course of two weeks during the month of April.
