The aerial counterpart of the Unmanned Tactical Autonomous Control and Collaboration surveys an area for simulated enemy combatants in a mock town inside Ellis Hall at Marine Corps Base Quantico, April 19, 2016. The UTACC is a team of aerial and ground robots using the Distributed Real-time Autonomously Guided Operations Engine (DRAGON) to provide multi-dimensional intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance to the squad-level units. The information gathered from the UTACC will be sent to operators, who will then relay that information to an M80 Stilleto, a naval vessel used for testing new military technology, in order to take action against the enemy.
