U.S. Air Force Maj. Robert Riggs, U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Special Operations Command air mobility liaison officer, assists in loading cargo aboard a C-17 aircraft at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, North Carolina. As MARSOC’s AMLO, Riggs provides a critical link of communication between the airlift and ground forces in the area of operations. He facilitated the mission from planning and coordination through hands-on facilitation by piloting the aircraft as it deployed and re-deployed two MARSOC units.
