U.S. Marine Corps Staff Sgt. Estefania Patino, Primary Marksmanship Instructor, corrects the rifle combat optic of a recruit’s weapon during grass week June 6th, 2018, on Parris Island, S.C. The purpose of grass week is to teach recruits shooting positions and weapon safety rules for Table 1 and 2. Alpha and Oscar Companies are scheduled to graduate July 20th, 2018.
