A 7-ton tactical vehicle is operated by the autonomous mobile applique system during the Autonomous Mobility Applique System Joint Capability Technology Demonstration Aug. 20, 2014, at the Savannah River Site in Aiken, South Carolina. Known as AMAS, the system is designed to robotically assist drivers in convoys to enhance driver awareness during combat operations.
