A Marine guides an F-35B Lightning II at Royal Air Force Base Fairford in the United Kingdom after the first F-35 trans-Atlantic flight, June 29, 2016. Three F-35B’s flew from Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort, South Carolina and landed at RAF Fairford in Gloucester, England. They were assisted by two KC-10’s and refueled 15 times over the Atlantic Ocean.
