Sgt. 1st Class Midsru Miyazaki, left, and 1st Lt. Hunter Trotman, right, observe a Marine maintaining a MV-22 Osprey engine at Marine Corps Air Station New River, N.C., April 7, 2017. Miyazaki is training to become the first Japanese crew chief of a MV-22 Osprey. Before every flight the crew chief has to check all mechanical systems both inside and outside the aircraft to ensure proper safety of crew. Trotman is a MV-22 Osprey pilot in training assigned to VMMT-204. VMMT-204 is assigned to Marine Aircraft Group 26, 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing.
