U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Tyler Rautheaux, a mortarman with 2nd Battalion, 2nd Marines, provides security during urban operations within the Central Training Area on Okinawa, Japan, April 7, 2021. This dynamic training provided small unit leaders with the opportunity to improve their tactical decision making skills in offensive and defensive operations. 2/2 is forward-deployed in the Indo-Pacific under 4th Marines, 3rd Marine Division as a part of the Unit Deployment Program. Rautheaux is a native of Port Huron, Michigan.
