The United States Marine Corps is America's premiere expeditionary force, ready to protect the nation's interests on the battlefield, in the air and by sea. Marines are held to the highest standards – ethically and morally – and have earned a reputation as "America's 911 Force" by being first on scene, first to help and first to fight.
The Marine Corps is a self-sustained organism, comprised of many occupations and skills sets, all inherently vital to the successful completion of every mission. Whether Marines are on the front lines of conflict, playing key roles in relief efforts or maintaining the informational integrity of Marines stationed around the globe, every Marine must work together to ensure the Marine Corps always remains mission ready.
Every Marine has an important job and a unique story to tell about his or her view of the Marine Corps. Each experience is different and yet, all exemplify the honor, courage, commitment, dedication, loyalty and trust of America’s Marines. This is our piece of the Corps.
