Suppression

	The department operates a hazardous materials response team with class "A" entry capability. Members of the team are California state hazardous materials technicians. This is another Marine Corps first, starting at MCAGCC.

	The department operates the emergency response ambulances aboard MCAGCC. We have paramedics that provide advanced life support. in fact, MCAGCC is the Marine Corps pioneer in providing emergency ambulance services that other departments are following.

	The department operates an urban search and rescue team, California State medium classification. Team members are California state rescue systems one certified.
