| Registration of Motor Vehicles |
All persons desiring to register a vehicle aboard the MCAGCC, or to obtain a Temporary or Visitor Pass, are required to present the following information:
- Valid military, military dependent, retired or civilian identification card.
- Valid state operator's or chauffeur's license for the type of vehicle being registered.
- Evidence of valid licensing or registration of the vehicle in a state or territory of the United States.
- Proof of motor vehicle liability insurance that meets or exceeds the minimum requirements of the state of California.
- Notarized written permission to operate the vehicle is the applicant is not the registered owner, legal owner, or dependent of the owner of the vehicle to be registered.
- Proof of compliance with Smog Inspection will consist of a printout of the inspection results provided by a certified California State Smog Inspection Stations. An actual State Smog Certificate is not required.
- All military personnel 25 year of age or under must show evidence of having satisfactorily completed a Driver's Improvement Course prior to vehicle registration.
- Operators of motorcycles must provide evidence of having completed a rider's or operator's course and a valid state operator's license specifically endorsed as permitting motorcycle operation.
Personnel permanently assigned to a unit or organization located at the MCAGCC are required to register their vehicles with the Vehicle Registration Office within 3 working days of reporting aboard. ↑ |
| DoD Decals |
| Persons eligible for permanent DoD decals include active duty military personnel and their dependents, DoD civilians working on the MCAGCC, retired military members, military reservists residing in the local community, bonafide dependents whose military sponsors are assigned elsewhere, and civilian contractors who have a contract to provide goods or services to the MCAGCC or its residents, limited to contractor supervisors and persons of long standing with the contractor who require access to the base multiple times in a given week. ↑ |
| Temporary Vehicle Pass |
| Temporary passes are issued to contractor employees, authorized guests of the MCAGCC and personnel who rate a permanent DoD decal and only has a temporary drivers license, temporary registration, or temporary proof of insurance. Temporary Passes should be returned upon receipt of new Temporary Pass or permanent DoD Decal. ↑ |
| Visitor Pass |
| Visitor passes are issued to persons having a bonafide need to be aboard the MCAGCC who do not otherwise rate a permanent DoD decal or Temporary Pass. Personnel requesting a Visitor Pass are required to have a military or DoD Civilian sponsor. ↑ |
| Registration of Privately-Owned Weapons |
Any person, civilian or military, who purchases, obtains, or introduces weapons or devices as described in CCO P1630.6E must be immediately register by completing the Weapons Registration Form and submitting it to the Vehicle Registration Office.
Individuals will be issued a MCAGCC Weapons Registration Card, which must be retained with the weapon at all times. ↑ |
| Registration of Pets |
All pets kept in Combat Center housing must be registered with the Center Veterinary Service (Bldg. 1028). Once registered the following information must be brought to the Vehicle Registration Office for complete registration:
- Animal License Number
- nimal Name
- Breed
- Type (dog, cat, bird, etc)
- Sex
- Color
- Age
- DOB
- Weight
- Address

| Installation Access Card |
All employees/day laborers who work aboard the installation are required to obtain an IAC to access the Combat Center. All non-government employees must be sponsored as an employee by an authorized Unit or Directorate to obtain an IAC. Personnel who posses an IAC only are not authorized to escort/sponsor other individuals on the installation.
Personnel must provide one form of photo ID to receive an IAC.
