OPSEC Info
As our Marine Corps continues to support the Global War on Terror, it must be noted that special attention to Operations Security (OPSEC) is of the utmost importance. It is everyone's responsibility to remain vigilant in an effort to keep our Marines from unnecessary harm. Operations Security can be loosely defined as preventing the enemy from obtaining unclassified but sensitive information that could be compiled in an effort to do harm to friendly forces. Items such as daily activities, training exercise details, squadron mission or capabilities, emergency procedures, and detailed family member's job descriptions should not be discussed outside of the home or posted to social networking sites.
