BE READY

-Train to be combat ready to deploy, fight and win

-Stay in top physical condition

-The stress and rigors of combat are better handled by being mentally, morally, physically, and spiritually prepared

-Our ability to be ready to shoot, move, communicate, and apply combat lifesaving skills is critical to remaining relevant

BE RESPECTFUL

-Be respectful of your subordinates, peers, and seniors

-Be the kind of leader you would want to follow

-be the kind of follower you would want to lead

-Hazing or any other type of disrespectful or harassing behavior will not be tolerated

-Loyalty and trust must be both horizontal and vertical in any organization

BE RESOLUTE

-Be a quiet professional

-Do your job, do it to the very best of your ability

-Let the results speak for themselves

-Men of action do not need words to describe their deeds

BE RESPONSIBLE

-If corrective actions are necessary, have the moral courage to take charge and fix what needs to be fixed

-Weigh the consequences of your decisions and be responsible for yourself

REMEMBER

-Remember the sacrifices of those who have gone before us

-Remember the standards that you have sworn to uphold

-Remember to be grateful for being an American and the freedom and liberty that affords you
