Mission Statement
The Intelligence Operations Chief serves as the Senior Enlisted Intelligence Occupational Field Specialist and is responsible for advising the DIRINT, the ICMC, and the Intelligence Department Staff on all matters pertaining to Marine Corps Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Enterprise (MCISR-E), intelligence manpower and training.
Tasks
- Directly responsible for advising the Intelligence Occupational Field Sponsor and for supervising the enlisted 02XX and 26XX Occupational Field Specialists in the performance of their duties.
- Responsible for advising the Intelligence Operations and Intelligence Plans Division Chiefs on all matters pertaining to intelligence manpower and training. Coordinating with TECOM, MCIS, MMEA, MCCDC, and M&RA he will attain complete familiarity with intelligence manpower and training policies and disseminate information regarding such policies to enlisted personnel throughout the MCISR-E.
- Must be conversant on all issues that cross the desks of the DIRINT, ADIRINT, the COS, the ICMC, and be prepared to serve as the ICMC when required.
- Must have a deliberate outreach program to the Army, Navy, and Air Force counterparts to leverage best business practice to enhance the professionalization of the workforce within the MCISR-E .
