MISSION:  To enhance the II Marine Expeditionary Force’s war fighting capability through integrated "force preservation" measures, and focus Navy and Marine Corps safety programs on mishap prevention.

VISION:  To develop a culture throughout II Marine Expeditionary Force where safety is an integral part of mission accomplishment through aggressive force preservation. Safety is not the exclusive domain of each Marine Expeditionary Force, Major Subordinate Command, or unit safety offices with the Executive Officers or the Sergeant's Major. Safety resides at all levels of our MAGTF and safety is the responsibility of all Marines, Sailors, and civilians of II MEF.
