Marine Corps Systems Command has an obligation to keep the American public, and therefore the media, informed. We do this by providing complete, accurate, and timely information about command events, activities, programs and people. Our command information program is based on the principles of openness and candor. Maximum disclosure with minimum delay is our operating motto.
The Commander for the Marine Corps Systems Command has ultimate command information release authority, which has been delegated to the commands Corporate Communications Directorate, specifically to the commands Public Affairs Office. No other member of the Marine Corps Systems Command workforce has release authority, unless that authority has been granted by the Corporate Communications Directorate for the commander.
