All Marines and Civilian Marines who work in an acquisition-related billet or department, or who support the Marine Corps acquisition team, are invited to attend Acquisition Excellence (AE) Day on June 6 at the Hylton Events Center, 14640 Potomac Mills Road, Woodbridge, Va. The doors open at 7:15 a.m., and all attendees should be in their seats by 8 a.m.
This annual event focuses on matters of topical concern to the Marine Corps, as well as the personal and professional development of members of the acquisition workforce. The event also gives the Marine Corps an opportunity to celebrate the accomplishments of the active-duty and civilian Marines who work at Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC), the affiliated Program Executive Offices (PEOs) and supporting organizations through presentation of both Marine Corps and MCSC-level awards for excellence in acquisition.
All members of MCSC and affiliated PEOs, as well as contractors who have attended Defense Acquisition University (DAU), must register using the "Register Now" website located at: https://www.atrrs.army.mil/channels/clm/default.asp. Non-acquisition workforce members will be required to establish an account to register. Non-DAU contractors may register by forwarding a copy of their supervisor's approval to ashley.welsh@usmc.mil.
