- Principal advisor to the Commander in matters pertaining to religion and spiritual welfare of personnel within:

Marine Corps Bases Atlantic
- Maintains liaison with the Chaplain of the Marine Corps USMC regarding manning, personnel assignment, training, and coordination requirements of Religious Ministry Team(RMT)
- Coordinate development, publication, and maintenance of Marine Corps service doctrine of religious ministry.
