Align organizational/functional activities & processes to meet the goals & mission essential tasks of the organization.
Produce meaningful measurements needed to set consistent standards, define readiness & quantify resource requirements.
Goal: Assess & improve MARFORCOM /MARCORBASESLANT & subordinate commands ability to meet mission requirements

Capabilities and Requirements Branch:
Integrated collaborative review process.
Leveraged expertise of adjacent & subordinate commands.
Identify Operating Force issues early in the process prior to commitment of resources.
Enable Marine Corps to provide COCOMs with capabilities required to perform across spectrum of military operations.
Some Key Activities - UNS/UUNS, MROC, Joint Experimentation, Joint and Service Doctrine Review, Technology demonstrations
Goal: Explore, identify, review Joint & Service desired Operational Capabilities IOT identify DOTMLPF recommendations for change & integration necessary to develop & influence future structure & capabilities.
