Pre-deploymentPre-deployment. Constitutes the time from first notification of mobilization or deployment until deployment of the Service member or unit. Events and activities shall focus on providing education and ensuring the readiness of members of the unit, their families, employers, and affected communities for the rigors of a combat deployment and family separation.
