Welcome to 4th Tank Battalion! I am SSgt Juan Garcia, Family Readiness Officer for the Battalion. My job is to provide command information, referrals, readiness, and deployment support to the Marines, Sailors, and families at 4th Tank Battalion. As a military spouse and a mother of two boys, I understand the trials and tribulations of the military lifestyle and its effects on children and relationships. I am continuously on the search for programs and services for you to take advantage of and I can assist you in finding resources and support to help during periods of deployment or non-deployment. For those interested in receiving regular information such as free & special events, activities open to military families, and family related base activities please contact me via the email or phone number below.
I would also like to pass on information about the change from the Key Volunteer Network to Family Readiness Program in which there are Family Readiness Advisors and Assistants but there are no longer call trees. We now have a Mass Communication Tool (MCT) that information is loaded into and is sent out via phone calls and emails ensuring confidentiality. The phone message is automated so please don’t hang up and be sure to confirm receipt or it will call you repeatedly. Information that will be sent using the MCT includes, but is not limited to, drill notices, deployed unit updates, return/reunion information, and family events.
