VMA-311 arrives at MCAS Iwakuni 

Marine Attack Squadron 311 arrived here Jan. 11 from Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, Arizona, as part of the Unit Deployment Program. 

Lt. Col. Michael J. Gough commands the “Tomcats,” which consists of approximately 160 marines and eight AV-8B Harrier aircraft.

The Tomcats replaced Marine Attack Squadron 513, which returned to Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, Arizona.

部隊交代（海兵第３１１攻撃中隊到着）のお知らせ

岩国基地発表（２０１０年２月１９日）-

海兵第３１１攻撃中隊が、部隊交代計画に基づきアリゾナ州ユマ航空基地から岩国に１月１１日到着した。

同中隊「トムキャッツ」の指揮官はマイケル・J・ガウ中佐。約１６０人の隊員とAV-8B型ハリアー攻撃機８機で構成される。

同中隊は、アリゾナ州ユマ航空基地へ帰還した海兵第５１３攻撃中隊と交代した。
