VFA-94 arrives at MCAS Iwakuni 

Navy Strike Fighter Squadron 94 arrived here Feb. 7 from Naval Air Station Lemoore, Calif., as part of the Unit Deployment Program. 

Navy Cmdr. Brett E. Crozier commands the “Mighty Shrikes,” which consists of approximately 200 personnel and approximately 10 F/A-18 aircraft.

The Mighty Shrikes replaced Marine All Weather Fighter Attack Squadron 533, which returned to MCAS Beaufort, S. C., after completing its six-month tour here.

部隊交代（海軍第９４戦闘攻撃中隊到着）のお知らせ

岩国基地発表（２０１０年２月１９日）-

海軍第９４戦闘攻撃中隊が、部隊交代計画の一環としてカリフォルニア州ラムアー海軍航空基地から岩国に２月７日到着した。

同中隊、通称「マイティ・シュライクス」はブレット・E・クロズィアー海軍中佐が指揮し、約２００人の兵員とＦ/Ａ-１８型ホーネット戦闘攻撃機約１０機で構成される。

同中隊は、岩国での６か月の展開を完了してサウスカロライナ州ビューフォート基地へ帰還した海兵第５３３全天候戦闘攻撃中隊と交代した。
