Christmas is just around the corner, and with the holiday season all around, it is a time the streets aboard the installation will be filled with the sound of holiday cheer by units, families and individuals.
MCAS Iwakuni Public Affairs Office will host a media opportunity for the Marine Corps Community Service’s Jingle Bell Jog on Monday, Dec. 19, at around 11 a.m. Held annually, this popular event consists of a 1.5 kilometer fun run with the air station members joining together in their best Christmas costumes. Participants with the best costumes will receive prizes, followed by a holiday party with a live band, stage games, and much more entertainment, including a visit by Santa Claus.

クリスマス本番も間近に迫り、ホリデーの季節の到来がそこかしこでみられるこの時期、基地内の部隊、家族、また個人がクリスマスの雰囲気を盛り上げ、通りを埋め尽くす時がやってきました。
岩国基地報道部では、海兵隊コミュニティーサービス部主催のジングル・ベル・ジョギングの取材の機会を１２月１９日（月）午前１１時頃から開きます。毎年催されるこの人気のあるイベントは、基地住民がクリスマスにちなんだ衣装を身にまとい、基地内のコース１．５キロを楽しく走ります。最もよかった衣装には賞が与えられるほか、ライブバンドやゲーム、そのほかサンタクロースと一緒に楽しむ娯楽がたくさん用意されています。
