Biography of Chaplain Justin M. Hayes

Chaplain Hayes has desired to enter into ministry to serve God and country since he was 12 years old. As a result of this desire he charted a course for his education that would allow him to serve in a pastoral role. After high school Chaplain Hayes began his education at Drury University in Springfield, MO where he majored in Religion and minored in History and Global Studies. Once he completed his degree Chaplain Hayes pursued his Masters of Divinity at Grace Theological Seminary in Winona Lake, IN. While at seminary Chaplain Hayes also worked on two pastoral internships that lasted one year each to prepare him for the ministry setting. Chaplain Hayes has currently completed the requirements for Officer Developement School, and has completed the Chaplain's basic course in order that he may serve the spiritual needs of the Navy and Marine Corps.

Chaplain Hayes has received his National Defense Medal, 1 award, and he looks forward to opportunities to serve his nation.
