April marks the nation’s “Month of the Military Child,” a time to honor military youth impacted by the various challenges of military life.
April 13, the inaugural event “Purple Up! For Military Kids” was initiated by the Georgia Operation: Military Kids Coalition. Purple clothing was worn as a visual way to show support and thank military children, past, present and future, for their strength and sacrifice.
