The Public Safety Department is composed of the Marine Corps Police Department (MCPD) and Fire and Emergency Services Division (FMSD). It ensures the existence of a lawful and orderly environment necessary to maintain mission readiness. It enhances mission capability by protecting U.S. homeland and critical bases of operation through risk management, education and emergency response.
