SEASONAL SAFETY CAMPAIGNS
Since the 1960s, military safety specialists have referred to the time period between Memorial Day weekend and Labor Day weekend as the "Critical Days of Summer" due to the well-recognized trend of increased risk and resulting mishaps. To focus on risk management initiatives and increase awareness among Sailors and Marines, the Department of the Navy sponsors an annual summer safety campaign that is kicked off for the Memorial Day holiday and runs through the Labor Day holiday. Recently the Marine Corps has incorporated "Warrior Preservation" as an overarching campaign slogan for all seasonal safety campaigns, follow the links below for more campaign information and material:

COMMITTEE/PROGRAM INVOLVEMENT
CMC Safety Division is involved in coordinating committees and organizations to exchange ideas and continually improve it's safety programs.
