Family Readiness Program

Welcome to Marine Corps Combat Service Support Schools Family Readiness Program.  Headquarters, United States Marine Corps recently mandated all Battalion/Squadron commands and above to staff a Family Readiness Officer (FRO) as a primary duty.  I was recently assigned as MCCSSS, Marine Corps Base, Camp Johnson, FRO.

The Family Readiness Assistant Network is the official communication link with families while at home, on a training exercise, or deployed.  This network of volunteers is especially important as a means of providing information about resources available in the local area.

MCCSSS is always looking for Family Readiness Assistant/Morale Support Volunteers.  If you are interested in joining our Family Volunteer Network, please contact me via e-mail or by phone at (910) 450-0977.
