Marine Minute
March 8, 2018 | 1:00
I'm Corporal Savannah Mosby with your Marine Minute.

Around a hundred Marines with the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit from Camp Pendleton, California are currently conducting realistic urban training, exercises and drills in Phoenix, Arizona to prepare them for their upcoming deployment. They will conduct these drills in the suburbs of Phoenix to get hands on training moving around conventional cities where people live to get them trained for the urban battleground.

Also in the Corps,
Marines and sailors of the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit returned from a seven-month long deployment March 7th, to their parent commands in California and Arizona. They were operating in multiple locations around the globe in support of Fleet and combatant commanders. They conducted 16 exercises to sustain readiness and worked side by side with the Nations' partners and allies, strengthening partnerships and increasing combat readiness, amphibious and crisis-response capabilities, and communication between U.S. and partner nation forces.
