Marines from III Marine Expeditionary Force participated in a Marine Corps Combat Readiness Evaluation Nov. 29 thru Dec. 16, 2016 on Ie Shima Island and Kin Blue, Okinawa, Japan. During the evaluation, the Marines were put through several combat-like scenarios. This event was also an opportunity for young Marines to get experience in small-unit leadership.
