Marines with I Marine Expeditionary Force conduct MEFEX 15 aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif., Feb. 17-23. The MEF-level exercise was designed to evaluate training and readiness to deploy in support of combatant command operations and was the first of it's kind in more than a decade.

About 1,800 Marines participated in Marine Expeditionary Force Exercise 2015, a five-day exercise testing the ability to deploy approximately 50,000 Marines with the First Marine Expeditionary Force. Marine Tactical Air Command Squadron 38, aboard Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, orchestrates an array of essential tasks for the battlefield.

Marines with Combat Logistics Regiment 4, 4th Marine Logistics Group, participated in Marine Expeditionary Force Exercise 2015 in Kansas City, Missouri, Feb. 20 -22, 2015. The Marines simulated a field environment by building a tactical logistics operation center and communicating with their battalions in Washington and Colorado as well as their counterparts with I MEF. The simulation was designed to improve interoperability between the active and reserve components.
