On a hot sunny, quiet Friday morning over 100 Marines gathered to honor Cpl. Alex Martinez, a fallen comrade during a memorial ceremony in the Afghanistan sunlight, April 13. He was killed in action, April 5 while conducting combat operations in Now Zad District. Soundbites include Lt. Col. Jason Perry, commanding officer of 2nd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, Lt. Col.
